Guide to GameOn

Not all those who wander are lost…

Our big event is happening in Vilnius, but it wouldn’t be so huge without the fans from other cities. Often we hear your questions – where to stay, how to reach event venue etc. That‘s why we decided to prepare this guide – to ensure that your visit to GameOn III would be comfortable and full of adventures.

How to reach the venue – Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre “Litexpo”?

Did you just got out of your train or bus at Vilnius station and have no clue where to go next? You have two options – use our partner UBER service or public transport.

UBER

This way of traveling is our suggested choice. It is comfortable and practically free! To reach “Litexpo” by UBER you need to follow these 4 steps:

1. Download an app.

Download for iOS Download for Android

2. Sign up.

3. Enter a code: GAMEON2017.

4. Enjoy your free* ride!

*New users only. Only for 2 first free rides up to 10 €. Valid until: 16/10/2017

Public transport

For GameOn only Vilnius City Council prepared additional transport for gamers. Bus marked with 2G (GG, Vilnius!) will circle to “Litexpo” and back to Vilnius station all day within 10-15 minutes’ intervals. Duration ~15 min.

If by some kind of magic you’ve managed to miss 2G bus, you can jump into another bus marked with number 54 or catch a trolleybus with 16 on its front window. Name of required stop is “Parodų Rūmai”. You won’t be able to miss it since everyone will go there for sure!

By car

If you have rented a car or drove to Vilnius on your own, you should navigate towards “Litexpo”. Exact address: Laisvės pr. 5, Vilnius. Parking around exhibition and congress centre is free of charge.

By plane

Vilnius is easily accessible by air from all major European cities. It takes never more than three hours to fly from many European cities and “hubs” including Barcelona, Paris, Copenhagen, London, Frankfurt. Bus No. 3G goes to the city center and north over the river past Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva, the biggest conference hotel in Vilnius. Bus No. 88 goes to the City Centre, Old Town and north over the river, passing by many Vilnius hotels. Buses are located outside the Arrival Hall. Tickets can be bought from the driver for 1 Eur. A special train runs from Vilnius Airport to the main train station. The journey takes just seven minutes. The airport train station includes a passenger lift and is located directly in front of the airport. Tickets are sold on board for just 0,72 Eur. Train schedule can be found at www.litrail.lt. Taxis can be found outside the Arrival Hall or they can be ordered in Vilnius Tourist Information Centre at the Arrival Hall A.
