On December 16th Baltic Esports League (BEL) PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) final clashes have finished and with that BEL season one has concluded.
Four Estonians playing in a team “Bait Academy” showed real skill throughout all 10 final games, finished Saturday with 200 points advantage over the closest rivals and even managed to snatch 3 chicken dinners out of 10. By doing that they had won the majority of 1000 euro prize pool, powered by GameOn and ChallengerMode.
Second place was taken by Latvian quartet called “4 RANDOM LATVIANS”, who showed real determination trying to catch up with “Bait Academy”. Lithuanian squad called “Alytaus Alus” has taken third place.
‘We are glad to see our partnership with ChallengerMode getting stronger and stronger,” said Eglė Morkūnaitė, esports coordinator at GameOn, “we are giving more opportunities for players in the Baltics to show off their skills, and gaining vast amounts of experience while working with the project. During preparations for the final broadcast our observer Laurynas “Nbs” Kisielius was consulted by professional PUBG observers about ins and outs of the game. It is moments like these that offer priceless knowledge to all of our team.”
